More About the Ring

The Web Ring is an Internet navigation tool providing one-stop, direct access to a multitude of Institutional Control (IC) or Land Use Control (LUC) Web pages. The Web Ring will provide a link between the Web pages of federal, state, and local governments as well as researchers, non-profits, commercial services and others addressing land use control issues and best practices for LUC management. The Web Ring links a variety of IC/LUC Web pages with an interactive graphic directory comprised of a number of sectors. This sector-based organization is designed to speed Web Ring users to specific types of Web pages in two clicks of a mouse.

Joining the Web Ring will increase traffic to your site and allow users to more easily and directly access all the different types of information on the Internet related to risk-based cleanups, institutional controls, engineering controls, land use controls, environmental site assessment, all appropriate inquiry, and contaminated property transactions.

Joining the ring does not bind one to an agreement and you may withdraw your link and page from the Web Ring at any time without cause. The Web Ring is a voluntary arrangement to reciprocally link your site’s IC/LUC-related pages directly with the IC/LUC pages of the other Web Ring members. The Web Ring will link only those pages you specify. Posting your IC/LUC page on the Web Ring will provide Web Ring users with a direct link to your site’s IC/LUC-related pages as well as a direct link to the IC/LUC pages of the other Web Ring members.
